OUR PHILOSOPHY

Coming Together

To create a haven rich in culture, where time-honored traditions intertwine with the excitement of new beginnings. A reflection of the modern home and the ways we gather; a vessel for the moments that define your life.

Made in Portugal

In a charming coastal village, the sun kisses serene waters and golden beaches offer the ideal respite. We drew inspiration from the rich history of this idyllic location.

The result? A beautifully crafted product where nature and tradition unite in perfect harmony.

I. Meet Hamkke

Hamkke (함께) is a Korean word meaning "coming together". Inspired by the heartfelt connections made when we gather over a meal, Hamkke embodies a life philosophy that champions community, embraces slower days, and cherishes simple moments. Find beauty, purpose, and pleasure in the everyday.

II. Design & Durability

Our products are designed for everyday use. Each piece, thoughtfully crafted with timeless colorways and sustainable workmanship, serves as a beautiful backdrop to your stories, letting you savor the moments in between.

A Note from the Founder

For years, my most meaningful pieces lived untouched.

After a decade of marriage, I realized the fine china from our registry went unused — too precious for everyday life. The dishes we used daily chipped, broke, and were eventually discontinued, leaving us with uninspired white plates that felt more like placeholders than pieces we loved.

Hamkke was founded to live in the space in between.

Beautiful enough to feel special.
Durable enough for daily life.
Pieces you wouldn’t save for guests, because you deserve to use them too.

Our ceramics are meant to be used: often, easily, and without hesitation. They honor the many traditions, cultures, and ways modern families gather today.

Not saved for someday.
Because the most meaningful moments don’t happen once a year.
They happen every day.
