BREAKING BREAD WITH... Danielle Page

Danielle Page

Floral Designer and Founder of Yo Dani Girl

On finding purpose, following intuition, and the art of keeping things wild and flowing.

There’s something magnetic about Danielle Page. A florist by trade, artist by instinct, and storyteller through stems and leaves — her arrangements are as full of life as the woman behind them. Known for her work with brands like goop and Balenciaga, and clients like Sofia Richie Grainge, Danielle brings her signature style to everything she touches: wild, effortless, and deeply grounded in nature.

But her journey didn’t begin in a studio surrounded by blooms. It started at UCLA, where she imagined a more traditional path — an office, a desk, a predictable 9-to-5. “I found myself so lost trying to do what I felt I was supposed to do,” she shares. “When I discovered the flower world, I still didn’t trust it could be a real career… but I couldn’t help but follow the curiosity.” What followed was a leap into the unknown — armed with no formal training, just part-time jobs, a growing sense of self, and the quiet encouragement of a local community [many of which were women supporting a young woman founder] that believed in her.

Today, Danielle is five years into running her own floral business, though she’ll be the first to tell you she still feels like she’s learning. “It’s scary and still is! Every year is a new test, a new leap.” Yet her authenticity, resilience, and clear creative vision have become her trademarks. Her arrangements feel like a breath of fresh air — free-spirited but intentional, just like nature meant them to be.

Her artistry is rooted, quite literally, in the natural world. “My parents passed down the importance of being active in nature — hiking, surfing, biking. We were raised to believe our answers could be found outside through movement.” It’s a tradition she’s continuing in her own way, choosing a career that is physical, expressive, and deeply connected to the earth.
